Open the Book Assemblies are where members of the local church community come into school (KS2) to act out Bible stories with the children. There have been three sessions this term: "Daniel and the Lion", "A Time to Build" and "The Boy in the Temple".

Open the Book enables every Key Stage 2 child to hear the stories from the Bible, which are brought alive as the children and visitors take on various roles and have a lot of fun. This is a good way for the Longford children and the Christian community come together to share and discuss God's message.
